BBQ Chicken Wings

 

Who doesn't love chicken wings? These wings are juicy, tender, and flavourful - all of the perfect wing things! Prefer chicken thighs, drumsticks, or breast? No problem! Can use this recipe on any cut of chicken, without compromising on the delicious results! Don’t have a barbecue? That’s okay too! Can cook in oven or on a stovetop grill pan (I have a cast iron one from Lodge and it is perfect!).

 

Jaswants Kitchen BBQ Chicken wings

 

Ingredients:

Directions
  1. Mix together Jaswant’s Kitchen Tandoori Masala, Jaswant’s Kitchen Tadka Masala, sour cream, salt, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, oil, chillies and coriander.

  2. Add chicken wings and marinate for 1 hour (for best results, marinate overnight)

  3. Preheat BBQ on high heat until hot.

  4. Rub the grates with cooking oil and cook the wings on low heat or indirect heat (turn off the set of burners where you are cooking the wings and keep other burners on high).  

  5. Turn wings occasionally, until the chicken is browned and no longer pink on the inside, 20 to 25 minutes.

Lamb Kebabs

These little bites of pure perfection are easy to make, super flavourful, freeze well, and just an overall hit! Perfect for summer barbecues, potlucks, family gathering, appetizers, meal prep, and more! You could even use the mixture to make super tasty burgers. You can swap lamb for ground beef, or a mix of lamb and beef (my personal favorite).

 

Keto Paleo low carb lamb kebabs

 

Ingredients:

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees on bake convection setting or preheat BBQ on high heat.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix until all in ingredients are well incorporated.

  3. Make a small ball and cook in the microwave for 30 seconds to check if it has enough salt/seasoning and adjust by adding more if desired.

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Form small balls with the lamb mixture and place on baking sheet. If using the BBQ reduce heat to medium and use aluminum foil to ensure the kebabs don’t fall through the grates.

  5. Cook until lightly brown about 15 mins, turning halfway through. Ensure internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.

Spicy Chicken Burgers

Is a barbecue truly a barbecue without burgers? That is the question! This recipe takes your standard burgers and gives them a super tasty makeover. Recipe can yield 4 large burgers or 12 delicious sliders - perfect for your potluck, party, and appetizer needs! Recipe also freezes well, so you can prep in advance and always have a burger stash, ready to go! No barbecue? No problem! Can also cook in oven or on a stovetop grill pan.

 

Jaswants Kitchen Spicy Chicken Burgers

 

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together well and form evenly sized burgers. 

  2. Preheat BBQ on high heat until hot.

  3. Rub cooking grates with oil. Turn off one set of burners and cook burgers on indirect heat until internal temperature reaches 165°F. 

  4. Top with your favorite burger toppings and enjoy!

Tandoori Vegetable Skewers

Perfect vegetable side to pair with you BBQ Chicken WIngs, Lamb Kebabs, or Spicy Chicken Burgers. Trust us, your side dish never looked - and tasted! - this good. Feel free to swap out any veggies for your own low carb favorites!

 

Jaswants Kitchen Tandoori Vegetable Skewers

 

Ingredients:

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to broil or BBQ on high.

  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems.  

  3. Wash and cut red pepper into pieces approximately the size of the mushrooms.

  4. Peel and cut onion in half and then into quarters. Separate the onion layers.

  5. Combine ginger, spices, salt and oil in a bowl and mix well.

  6. Toss vegetables with spice mixture.

  7. Add vegetables to skewers, alternating each vegetable.

  8. Broil in the oven approximately 10 inches away from element for 6 minutes. Turn skewers and cook for another 6 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved. If using the BBQ turn off one set of burners and keep remaining burners on high. Cook skewers over indirect heat (over burners that are off) for 12 minutes or until cooked through, turning occasionally.

Jaswants Kitchen Iced Chai Latte

 

Ingredients:

Directions: 

  1. In a small pot, heat milk on medium heat until steaming.

  2. Take off heat and add tea and Jaswant’s Kitchen Chai Masala

  3. Let steep for 2-5 minutes to desired darkness.

  4. ** Optional** Add sweetener of choice, to taste

  5. Strain into a pitcher and let cool

  6. Add ice and serve!
