Grass-fed Beef Hotdog
These aren't just any hotdogs, these are Townsend Butchers' 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef hotdogs. They raise their cattle on open pastures without any antibiotics or added hormones in Simcoe, ON where they're free to roam. They're as good as classic hotdogs get.
COOKING TIP: These hotdogs are pre-cooked, so once defrosted they only need a few minutes on a medium-hot pan with a little oil. There's no shame in having a pan-seared hotdog for breakfast with fried eggs and then tossing a few on the grill for dinner. Traditionalists will slather them with pickle relish, ketchup and/or mustard while the adventurous amongst us will opt for guacamole and pickled jalapenos. Either way, enjoy it in a warm, buttery bun. But don't stop there. Whip up "dinner party dogs" that will blow your guests' minds. Just cut up the hotdogs and wrap them in store-bought puff pastry with some grainy mustard. You can thank us later.
