We LOVE crab cakes because they’re so full of flavour, elegance, and the perfect balance between a crispy outside and tender inside. We thought that crab cakes couldn’t get any better but our friends at Modern Meat have created incredibly delicious meatless versions that are almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Modern Meat is a meat-alternative company based right here in Vancouver that creates healthy, gourmet meatless proteins made from only natural plant-based ingredients. These “crabless” cakes are made with only vegetables, fresh herbs, and lemon. Finally, an amazing plant-based appetizer that tastes so good that we will be more than happy to share with our friends that don’t eat meat. You don’t have to follow a plant-based diet to love these meatless crab cakes.


COOKING TIP: These meatless crab cakes are best cooked in an oven or air fryer. Just preheat the oven to 400°F and brush a baking sheet with oil before placing the crab cakes on it. Bake for 20-25 minutes until they are crisp and golden. Serve with lemon wedges and a smile. 

Note that these meatless crab cakes are free of soy, gluten, nuts, and GMOs.
