Teriyaki Wings

  • 1 1lb of Wings

We have all heard of the world-famous Buffalo wing but have you ever tried a teriyaki wing? Our teriyaki wings are from Hutterite-raised chickens that are fed a mixed diet of vegetables and grains and never given any antibiotics or hormones. They’re local too - from New Dayton, Alberta, where the Kingsland Hutterite Colony follows human treatment guidelines including allowing all their chickens to be free-run in open areas. These wings are sweet, tangy with an earthy flavour that can be best described as an “umami” flavour. Trust us, they’re delicious! Kingsland received such an overwhelming response to their teriyaki chicken breasts that they decided to make teriyaki chicken wings using the same great marinade.

COOKING TIP: These wings are sauced and ready to be cooked but you have to decide how to cook them. You could grill them to add a slightly smoky flavour (just don’t forget to oil the grill first) or you could toss them in an air-fryer to get them crispy but our favourite way is to cook them in an oven so the teriyaki sauce gets thicks and sticky. To do this, preheat the oven to 400°F and spread out the frozen wings on a baking sheet lined with foil. Now bake them for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature hits at least 165℉. These wings are finger food at its best (oh that reminds us - have napkins ready)! Allergen alert: These wings contain soy.
