Wild Caught Atlantic Haddock
Our friends at Caudle's Catch bring you wild-caught Atlantic haddock that has been sustainably sourced from the east coast of Canada. Haddock is a delicate, flaky fish packed with vitamin B12 and protein while being low in fat. Compared to cod, it's slightly sweeter and the fillets are thinner and more delicate rather than being firm and meaty. Caudle's Catch is a small, family-operated Ontario company.
COOKING TIP: This is the perfect type of fish to dip in a beer batter or dredge with panko breadcrumbs. If you don't want to deep fry your fish, opt for the panko-crusted route because you can bake it in the oven. You'll know it's done when it flakes easily with a fork (insert it at an angle and twist gently) and it's no longer translucent. You can double check with a thermometer as well; the internal temperature should be 140-145°F. Don't forget a side of fries and tartar sauce! *Note - Due to the oily nature of some seafood, we cannot vacuum-seal all seafood products.
