We were pretty excited to add this one to our product list! 100% grass-fed, grass-finished maple beef sausages have all of the benefits of grass-fed, grass-finished beef, but with the drool-worthy addition of real Ontario maple syrup. Expect company when you start cooking these up - they smell just as delicious as they taste! As with most of our other 100% grass-fed beef products, these sausages also straight from our friends over at Heritage Cattle Co who raise their animals the old fashioned way – free to roam on open pasture, and raised without antibiotics and without the use of added hormones. They trace every animal on the farm from start to finish. The collagen casing holds in this flavourful, juicy beef – it’s ready to be sautéed, baked, or put straight on the BBQ. The maple syrup doesn’t mean they’re just for breakfast - they’re perfect for any meal!
WHAT DOES 100% GRASS FED MEAN? While the majority of cattle spend most of their lives in a pasture eating grass before being sent to a feedlot for grain-finishing, 100% grass-fed beef cattle remain on a pasture eating grass and hay. This results in the unique taste and texture of 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef.
