Lamb Burgers
These fantastic lamb burgers from Lambtastic are a real treat for any lamb lover. For starters, the burgers are made with lamb raised in Vulcan, AB on a lamb farm that started in 2012. When it comes to the fat and protein content, lamb is comparable to beef. This is the perfect choice if you're looking to mix things up during grilling season. Or if you're like us and love the distinct flavour of lamb, feel free to enjoy them all year round.
COOKING TIP: Okay, let's shake things up a bit and take a trip to the Mediterranean. You'll need pita pockets, thinly sliced red onions, tzatziki, crumbled feta, lettuce, and tomatoes. You can probably see where this is going, but we'll stay with you for a few more steps. Grill or bake the lamb burgers until they've reached an internal temperature of 160°F (that's medium). While that's cooking, start to assemble your pita pocket by lining it with lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions. When the burger is ready, slide it right into the vegetable lined pita and top with tzatziki and some crumbled feta.
