Our 8oz striploin steaks are back by popular demand. West Grey’s AAA New York striploin steaks, AKA “fast fry” steaks are cut between 0.5” and 0.75” making them perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, fajitas, or for child, senior, or light eater portions!
Always doing our best to support local farmers and suppliers, these cuts come from the Durham region – just north of Kitchener. What's unique about West Grey is how they take it one step further with their "Test Verified" system, which tests for any antibiotic residue. West Grey's Test Verified system was developed with advice from Professional Veterinarians and experts from the University of Guelph so you can trust that antibiotic claims are valid.
COOKING TIP: Heat the pan sufficiently prior to cooking, and cook for 1-2 minutes each side for perfect doneness. Because these are a thinner cut, they don’t need to stay on heat for long!
