Our chicken wings are raised locally by our friends at Marc Caron Farms on a vegetarian diet, without using any hormones or steroids, and are hand-cut and air-chilled. Whether you prefer the drumette or the wingette (also known as the flat), you're in luck because you get both when you add wings to your next box.
COOKING TIP: Chicken wings are pretty versatile and we are not just talking about the infinite number of sauces they can be dressed with. Wings can be grilled, baked, air-fried, or deep-fried. We love our wings crispy so we pat them dry once thawed and then rub them with a bit of oil before cooking them until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (about 10-12 minutes per side under the broiler). Now toss ‘em with your favourite sauce. The original wing sauce was a simple classic of hot sauce and margarine but we love maple-chipotle, pineapple-teriyaki, or citrus-honey.
