Wild-Caught Halibut

  • 1 Filet

Wild-caught via long-line off the north coast of British Columbia, this halibut is also Marine Stewardship Certified, which means it meets the international best practice for sustainable fishing. When it comes to the taste and texture of wild-caught halibut, it has a mild, slightly sweet flavour, and a firm texture. If you're just starting to try more seafood, this is a good place to start.

COOKING TIP: Halibut holds up well to bolder flavours like pesto, but is also delicate enough for a lemon caper sauce. One of our favourite ways to enjoy it is pan-seared and topped with an avocado and mango salsa. Bonus: it looks as good as it tastes!

*Note - Due to the oily nature of some seafood, we cannot guarantee vacuum-seal for seafood products.
