Mild Angus Grassfed Beef Sticks
The angus grass fed beef sausage sticks are carefully crafted by our friends at Atwood Heritage located about an hour northwest of Kitchener Ontario. Since the 1950s the folks at Atwood have been using the same ‘slow food’ traditional method of fermenting and cold smoking meats to preserve them. Containing simple and easy to pronounce ingredients like maple syrup, sea salt and olive oil, and no artificial preservatives, additives, allergens or fillers, these sausage sticks are suitable for most special diets. The combination of slow fermentation with cold smoking yields a unique chewy texture and complex flavour that is meaty, slightly tart and smoky all at the same time. Atwood has put a unique spin on a traditional food by making it both portable and easy to eat on the go by packing 2 pieces of 25g sticks in an easy to open package! These sausage sticks are made of 100% grass fed angus beef raised without antibiotics on Wilderness Ranch, a 6th generation Ontario family farm that dates back to 1826!
Serving Suggestions: This shelf stable product does not need any refrigeration. You will get them in your regular frozen box, simply remove the sausage sticks and store in a cool dry area until ready to consume. Once opened, the product is best stored refrigerated or they will continue to dry out. We suggest including these on your next road trip or weekend adventure, and when you are back from climbing that mountain or exploring those rivers and lakes, store a pack of these in your purse or gym bag for the perfect mid-week on-the-go protein snack.
