Wild Caught Breaded Haddock
Deliciously flaky, tender, and crispy is how we describe this breaded fish. Actually, we’d say that these are the best-breaded fish that we have ever tried or that we would eat these every day if we could. Breaded fish is a meal that we’ve loved since childhood and now enjoy cooking for our families on school nights or anytime we need a quick and satisfying no-fuss meal. Our friends at Afishionado have ethically and sustainably sourced Oceanwise recommended haddock from Georges Bank, NS and breaded it with a delicious, lightly seasoned breadcrumb. Haddock lives in the cold waters of the North Atlantic and is high in protein and low in mercury. We say that we eat fish for health benefits but we eat this fish for its flavour too!
COOKING TIP: Most of the messy work is done for you because this product comes fully seasoned and breaded - no more flour and egg wash that seems to get all over the kitchen! You just have to cook it in an oven preheated to 220℃ (425°F) for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 70℃ (158℉). We like to serve it on a bun with tartar sauce, with french fries and coleslaw on the side or cut them into pieces for fish tacos or burritos.
