Lasagna Bolognese
When you need to get dinner on the table in less than an hour for hungry mouths, but don’t want to mess up the kitchen, this Traditional Bolognese Lasagna from Pretto’s Pasta is your answer. After sampling various lasagna artisans, it’s clear that Pretto’s reigns supreme. What sets this lasagna apart are the meaty Bolognese sauce made with high-quality beef and pork, and the impressive stack of seven delicate layers of freshly made egg noodles, rolled extra thin using a top-secret method. The pièce de résistance is the generous layer of mozzarella that smothers the top, making this dish a must-try for any pasta lover.
KEEP FROZEN
COOKING TIP: No need to thaw this lasagna before cooking, but if you want to speed up the cooking time, try thawing it overnight in the fridge. First, remove the cellophane wrap, but don’t pitch it in the garbage until you’ve had a chance to review the cooking instructions! We like to remove the lid of the lasagna at the end of cooking to brown the cheese before serving. One lasagna serves about 2-3 people, so if you’ve got more mouths to feed, make sure to cook two. We love to cook up two different types of Pretto's lasagna for our families, to give those picky eaters a couple of options to choose from.
