Jalapeno and Cheddar Perogi
Perogies are stuffed savoury dumplings originally from Eastern Europe. Pierogi House in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Ontario hand makes their perogies fresh everyday, the old school, authentic way. These perogies are little halfmoon shaped tender pillows of wheat dough stuffed with cheddar, mashed potatoes, and just a hint of jalapenos. Don’t worry though, these perogies pack all that delicious fresh jalapeno flavour with only a bit of heat. Whether you boil or fry them, perogies are an easy weeknight meal that everyone in the family will enjoy. Our truLOCAL staff absolutely loved these jalapeno cheddar perogies and we can’t wait to share them with you!
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Serve these flavour bursting bundles with some sour cream, sliced green onions, bacon, and cilantro for a satisfying meal. We love to pan fry the leftovers the next morning and serve with a fried egg and salsa! However you garnish them, make sure to share your photos and serving ideas on Instagram and tag (Steph please link to instagram https://www.instagram.com/trulocal/?hl=en) us so we can see your creations!
