Did someone say steak and eggs? A fast fry steak, also known as a minute steak is a thin slice of beef often taken from the sirloin or round of the animal. These steaks are extremely versatile and can be enjoyed breakfast, lunch, or dinner. These minute steaks have been raised without antibiotics, steroids or hormones by Black Apron Angus Beef. Due to their thinness, they’re prone to overcooking, so precise timing is crucial.

COOKING TIP: These steaks are made for convenience. Use a hot cast iron skillet to achieve a good sear. Pre heat pan over medium-high heat and sear steaks about 1-2 minutes per side. Keeping an eye on them to avoid overcooking. After cooking let the steak rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the meat juicy. Don’t forget to add your favorite steak seasoning prior to cooking. Bon Appetit!
