To mark 10 years, truLOCAL is celebrating with the 10 Years, 10 Prizes Contest, giving 10 lucky winners a free, fully customisable Starter Box, built from hundreds of local meat and seafood options and delivered free to their door. It's our way of thanking the community that has made it all possible.

The Prize

Win one of ten Starter Boxes from truLOCAL! Each winner will receive a fully customized truLOCAL Starter Box delivered to their home. That's up to 36 servings of premium, locally-sourced meat delivered right to your door.

Contest Timeline

  • Contest Start: Monday, May 25th, 2026
  • Contest End: July 14th, 2026 at 11:00 PM PST
  • Winner Selection: Winner will be selected by random draw which will take place on or around July 14th, 2026. Each entrant can win at most 1 of the 10 prizes. Winners will be notified by email shortly following the draw.

Eligibility

Eligible entrants meet the following criteria:

  • Are 19 years of age or older
  • Are a resident of Canada (excluding Quebec)
  • Are not an employee of truLOCAL, its affiliates, or their family members
  • Are not affiliated with truLOCAL in any professional or business capacity
  • Residents of Quebec are not eligible to participate in this contest

  • No purchase necessary to enter or win
  • A purchase does not increase the chances of winning
  • Winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries
  • Prize consists of 1 truLOCAL Starter Box and delivery.
  • In the event that we are unable to ship the prize to a winner, the winner will instead be awarded a truLOCAL gift card valued at $155
  • Prizes are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash (however, gift card can be used to purchase gifts for others)
  • Winner must correctly answer the skill-testing question to claim their prize

When will the winner be announced?

Prizes are non-transferrable. However, if you are awarded the gift card alternative, you can use it to purchase gifts for others.
