What is your favourite thing about summer?
The warm weather and sun still being out after 8pm, I just feel I can get more out of my day.
What is your best summer memory?
Being a youth and spending a summer long boarding with my friends, Slushies and staying out of trouble.
Do you have any summer traditions?
Just getting sun and seeing a few concerts or a music festival with friends!
Where would you go for your dream summer vacation?
Maybe somewhere like Thailand to absorb some culture but realistically a cottage away on a lake is all I need.
Irma, Director of Consumer Experience:
What is your favourite thing about summer?
I love summer! A few of my favourite things about summer are: spending time outdoors in nature, enjoying longer days filled with sunshine, and not having to wear socks!
What is your best summer memory?
Hmmm… that’s a tough question! When I was younger, I used to LOVE staying out all day playing manhunt with the kids in my neighbourhood. Can adults play manhunt? I’d love to do that again sometime, haha.
Do you have any summer traditions?
Every July, we spend a weekend at my best friend Alicia’s cottage for her birthday – She has a cottage that you have to boat out to, on an island, in the middle of Muskoka. I love the feeling of stepping off the boat onto the dock for the first time each year, breathing in the fresh air and listening to nothing but the sounds of nature – I look forward to that moment every year. Spending the weekend away with my best friends, away from the world, in complete serenity is definitely my favourite summer tradition.
Where would you go for your dream summer vacation?
I actually don’t LOVE to travel in the summer – I feel like everywhere is just too crazy busy and crowded to really enjoy. I do try and go to Bosnia to visit my grandparents for a week or two in the summer each year if I can – it isn’t exactly a “touristy” trip, but I love spending time with them J So yeah, I guess that is my dream summer vacation

What is your favourite thing about summer?
My favourite thing about summer is the warm sun and being outside more! I really enjoy the longer days and warm mornings; it makes it so much easier to get up early. Strangely, I have started to enjoy cutting the grass.
What is your best summer memory?
Hmmm… I think my best summer memories come from my childhood, playing all the sports I could! I remember loving to swim on the hottest days and even on the cold nights when the pool had lots of steam coming from it.
Do you have any summer traditions?
We have a pretty big family and it is continuing to grow so we all try make time to get together for a family golf tournament! Getting together with family always creates some great memories and we always celebrate all the milestone birthdays at this time as well! There are always so many laughs.
Where would you go for your dream summer vacation?
Every time I think about travelling in the summer, I always think it is a bad idea because our summers are so short. I usually wish I could escape our winters! However, this is a dream and I would choose to be at a cottage with a long dock, calm waters, great company and no mosquitoes! The location of the cottage can be anywhere, as long as the weather is nice!
