What’s your “money doesn’t matter” all-out dream vacation?

Maldives!!

What’s your favourite memory from a vacation you’ve taken?

My favourite memory was definitely touring the Colosseum in Rome. There is so much history in Rome as a whole but walking through the colosseum was another level!

What’s one city/country/landmark on your bucket list, and why?

I’d love to someday travel to Peru to hike up Machu Picchu, I think it would be quite the challenging adventure!

What’s your most awkward moment on a trip you’ve taken?

Losing your luggage is always awkward – nothing makes you feel more out of your element than being in a new country with none of your personal belongings!

Mitch, Business Development Representative

What’s your “money doesn’t matter” all-out dream vacation?

Sailing around the world on a Catamaran stopping in to explore various countries/cities along the way.

What’s your favourite memory from a vacation you’ve taken?

Tough question and too hard to narrow down to just one. Here are a couple favourites though:
a) Having a fire in the middle of the Australian outback under a clear sky filled with stars.

b) Watching Portugal play in the Euro Cup outside in the square with hundreds of others in Porto.

c) Skydiving in Airlie beach and then going to the beach making breakfast out of the van and drinking coffee and baileys

d) Snorkeling in Koh Toa with hundreds of brightly coloured fish, sea turtles, and reef sharks.

e) The motorbike loop in Ha Giang, Vietnam close to the Chinese border.

What’s one city/country/landmark on your bucket list, and why?

The Maldives.  Seems to have the most perfect crystal-clear baby blue water and clean beaches.

What’s your most awkward moment on a trip you’ve taken?

I was travelling with my girlfriend Melita, and we were staying at a hostel in Portugal.  To keep on budget, we stayed in a shared dorm and each had our own single beds to sleep in.  I went to sleep only to be woken up in the middle of the night to someone snoring in my bed, laying the opposite directly of me with their feet toward my head.  Thinking it was just my girlfriend that had decided to snuggle in my bed throughout the night, I thought nothing of it, shoved over to make some more room and tried to fall back asleep.  Trying to get comfortable with 2 to a single bed is hard enough as is, but the snoring continued so when I finally sat up to kick her back to her own bed, I realized it was in fact not her.  There was a very inebriated French man, that had mistaken my bed for his own, and cuddled right on in and made himself at home.  I quickly jumped out of bed, ran over to see Mel, and decided to let him sleep it off until we all had a good laugh about it in the morning after breakfast.

Justin, Inventory & Supply Chain Specialist

What’s your “money doesn’t matter” all-out dream vacation?

Anywhere sunny with amazing scenery. Anywhere that has a beautiful beach to relax on with crystal clear ocean water to swim in. Great tasting drinks are a bonus!

What’s your favourite memory from a vacation you’ve taken?

Zip-lining over forests, and cave diving in Mexico. It was an amazing experience! Would definitely do it again someday.

What’s one city/country/landmark on your bucket list, and why?

There’s SO many to choose from. I would have to say Japan in general. I would love to experience a completely different culture change from what we’re accustomed to here in Canada. The different foods, sights, and lifestyle is something that intrigues me.

What’s your most awkward moment on a trip you’ve taken?

I remember one of my first times swimming in an ocean, only to have little fish nibbling on and touching my feet. I freaked out and ran out of the water as quickly I could. People looked over at me as if I injured myself or something (I was younger, of course! Young me freaking out over little fishies touching my feet…come on Justin!).
