Show Us Where Local Lands For You

truLOCAL announces a photo contest featuring their newly designed box.

Show Us Where Local Lands For You.

We've spent the last decade doing one thing really well: connecting Canadians with the best local meat from farmers, fisheries, and butchers right here at home. To mark our 10th anniversary, we redesigned our box from the ground up. That bold red maple leaf you're seeing isn't just a new look. It's a symbol of every local producer we've had the privilege of working with since day one.

And now we want to see our new box in your world.

We're officially launching the truLOCAL New Box Photo Contest, open to all current truLOCAL members across Canada and all non-members (although you'd have to draw or paint your own version of our new box). Whether your box lands on the deck, at the cottage, in the kitchen, or at the tailgate, snap a photo and share it with us. The best shot wins a fully customizable free Family Box, where you pick every single protein inside it.

What's the Prize?

There are two winners, one selected from Instagram entries and one from Facebook entries. Each winner will receive a free truLOCAL Family Box, fully customizable to fit your preferences and lifestyle. Grass-fed beef, wild-caught salmon, heritage pork, free-range chicken; whatever you love most, it's yours to build.

Want to double your chances? Enter a different image on both platforms or enter multiple images for us to choose from.

A Note on Image Rights

By posting a photo and tagging @trulocal to enter this contest, you grant truLOCAL permission to repost, share, and use your image in our marketing materials, on social media, and across other channels, whether or not your photo is selected as the winning entry. Why We Redesigned the Box

Ten years is a milestone worth marking. When we started truLOCAL, our goal was straightforward: make it easy for Canadians to access high-quality, locally sourced meat without the guesswork. No mystery suppliers, no imported cuts dressed up as local. Just real food from real Canadian producers, delivered to your door.

The new box reflects that commitment. The bright red maple leaf is a nod to every farmer in Ontario, every fishery on the East Coast, every rancher in Alberta, and every butcher who has partnered with us along the way. We're proud of where we've come from, and we're excited about where we're going.

Now let's see where your box takes you.

No purchase necessary. Open to Canadian residents who are current truLOCAL members. By entering, you agree to our contest terms and image usage rights.
