Wild Caught Icelandic Cod
This wild-caught Icelandic cod comes from Caudle's Catch, a family operation in Ontario. Cod is a mildly flavoured, dense, flaky white fish packed with vitamin B12, selenium, phosphorus, and protein.
COOKING TIP: Cod is meaty and versatile, which makes it a joy to cook with. It'll hold up in a soup or fried for tacos. Cod and corn fritters are always a crowd-pleaser. If you're feeling fancy, go for miso cod. Trying to keep it simple? Marinate the cod fillets with soy sauce and mirin. Then, steam it with sliced scallions, ginger, and garlic until it's opaque. Top it with a drizzle of sesame oil and some more scallions. Serve the steamed cod with rice and thank us later. *Note - Due to the oily nature of some seafood, we cannot vacuum-seal all seafood products.
