Why is it important that it’s grass-fed beef? Well, grass-fed and finished beef has a firmer texture, perfect for making pulled beef. Grass-fed beef’s also leaner, higher in antioxidants and vitamins, and has twice as many omega-3 fatty acids as regular grain-fed beef. COOKING TIP: Pulled beef usually takes hours of cooking but our friends at NUVO Taste have done all the work for you by cooking it slowly at low temperatures so that it’s tender, juicy, and delicious. It’s fully cooked so all you have to do is heat it up by submerging the bag in simmering water for 30-35 minutes from frozen or 10-15 minutes from thawed. We love this pulled beef served on a toasted bun with coleslaw or in tacos. But it is so versatile that it could also be used as a base for chilli or as a topper for a salad, nachos, or poutine.
