Lamb Chops

If you are looking for a simple meal that’s guaranteed to impress your guests, lamb chops might be the perfect solution but don’t wait until guests come over to enjoy these delicious lamb chopsLamb has a grassy-sweet flavour with a subtle gaminess that can be best described as a flavour between beef and pork. Our bone-in lamb chops come from our friends at Ferme d’ORée in Newport, Quebec, where they pasture-raise all their lamb without antibiotics or hormones. They genuinely care about their animals and it shows in the high quality of their delicious lamb products.

COOKING TIPS: There are several ways to prepare lamb chops. They can be baked, broiled, grilled, or cooked in a frying pan. They pair very well with herbs, marinades, dry rubs, and sauces. We like to marinate them for a few hours with a simple mix of olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, and garlic before cooking them on the barbecue. Despite the bone protecting them slightly from overcooking, lamb chops cook quickly. We recommend using a meat thermometer and removing them at a temperature of 145˚F for medium. Any higher than 160˚F could risk them drying out and becoming tough. Serve lamb chops with balsamic and honey roasted veggies and rice.
