Wild-Caught British Columbia Spot Prawns
The largest of the shrimp varieties from Finest At Sea, wild-caught BC spot prawns are a fan favourite. Spot prawns are known for their buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture and sweet, briny flavour. COOKING TIP: They're big enough to put on the grill (shell-on) or you can peel them and sauté them in a pan. You'll want to be gentle when peeling these as the meat is tender and can easily tear. When it comes to adding seasonings, go with gentle flavours for this one so you don't over power the natural flavour of the spot prawns. A little bit of salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil is plenty.
