Our friends at Carnivore Club scoured the province looking for the finest charcuterie artisans. Each order contains 6 unique items wrapped in a cute red Carnivore Club box, perfect for gift giving. Each box contains the following gluten-free and dairy-free items:

Niagara Food Specialties Pingue Prosciutto slices are handcrafted using old world Italian methods, with only three simple ingredients: humanely raised crate-free pastured pork, sea salt, and spices. Their prosciutto is air-dried for 18 months resulting in a firm and slightly chewy product with a buttery, savoury, and salty flavour. We love it wrapped around pieces of ripe cantaloupe or plated with fresh burrata and crushed pistachios.

Niagara Food Specialties are true artisans, their Soppressata slices are handcrafted using a traditional Calabrian recipe from Southern Italy. This Sopressata uses grain fed, humanely raised, gestation crate-free, pastured pork. These hot salamis are air-dried and aged for 4 months before being sliced and packaged for your enjoyment. We like the coarse grind and rich flavour, that has just the right hit of spice to balance the meaty pork. We love this Soppressata paired with Castelvetrano green olives, provolone cheese, and crusty bread

Wageners Dry Salami (aka Salami Sec) is a must have on every charcuterie board, it's made using traditional methods which involves a long exposure to smoke followed by fermentation and dry curing. This results in a savoury and slightly tangy rich, firm, chewy bite. Slice these salamis thin and use them as a pizza topper, with pasta, or enjoy as a snack with your favourite cheese and crackers.

Wageners Smoked Csabai (Hungarian-style salami) comes with 2 sticks in every package. Hungarian salami gets its distinct red colour from lots of paprika and a pinch of cayenne pepper. These smoky salamis are full of flavour, and are a great addition to pizza, sandwiches, bean soups, or stews like Goulash. We love them as a snack sliced with a medium cheddar and an apple.

The Hot Cacciatore Salami from Salumeria il Tagliere is an artisanal product that is slow cured using natural fermentation on the family farm in Caledon, Ontario. Il Tagliere starts with Ontario pork that has been sustainably raised on a diet of natural grains grown on the same farm. This Hot Cacciatore is firm and dry, with a smooth, almost buttery flavour. We love this salami tossed in pasta, use it in place of pancetta in your carbonara. It's also great chopped up with scrambled eggs in a breakfast burrito or frittata.

The Cranberry Stikini Meat Sticks by Salumeria Il Tagliere are the perfect little snack by themselves or paired with nuts and cheese. Dry cured with simple ingredients and just a hint of cranberries, slice these up for bite sized appetisers and serve them on a tooth pick with some firm goat cheese at your next holiday function!

Serving Suggestions: If you’ve been wanting to create the ultimate charcuterie board, here is your starter kit. Break out your wood cutting board or large platter and get creative and experiment with different ingredients. We have you covered for the meat with this box but you can add some cheese, savoury nuts or olives, sweet treats like fruit, and bread or crackers to please a crowd.


All the products in the charcuterie box can be stored at room temperature, no need to pack it on ice when you bring it to the next party. Sometimes you will receive the charcuterie box with your regular frozen meat truLOCAL order. If it shipped next to the dry ice, make sure to let the meat come back to ambient or refrigeration temperature before consuming. After the party, if you have any leftovers from your charcuterie board, make sure to refrigerate them and consume within a few weeks for best results.
