This regular beef jerky is tender and chewy with a perfect balance of savory, smoky and sweet. They start by slicing inside round cuts of beef against the grain. Inside round is cut from the hind quarter of the cow, which makes it a lean working muscle. To tenderize this meat, Stemmlers marinates it in onion, garlic, salt, and a pinch of sugar for 16-20 hours before slowly smoking it over real maple hardwood chips. After cooling the jerky is cut into bite sized pieces and packaged into resealable pouches for your enjoyment. With only 1 gram of fat and 9 grams of protein per serving, this snack will satisfy your cravings while nourishing your body.
