AAA Sirloin Tip Roast
You might be wondering: “Is all sirloin the same?” Short answer: No. The Sirloin Tip Roast comes from the hindquarter’s largest muscle, while top sirloin is cut from the upper portion of the same muscle. The sirloin tip is less tender since it comes from a more active area. This grain-finished AAA Sirloin Tip roast is more tender than other round roasts but less so than top sirloin. Butchered by our friends at Pre Pak Meats, a family-run business in Calgary, passionate about high-quality, locally sourced products
COOKING TIP: Like all lean roasts, you'll want to let it cook for some time to avoid eating tough meat. You'll get lots of flavour and juicy bites if you opt for a dry herb rub and roast it slowly in the oven at a low temperature. Don't forget to let it rest for 15 minutes before craving. Creamed spinach is the perfect pairing, but sautéed spinach will also do the trick.
