Founded in 2011, Pizzeria Defina introduced Napoletana-style pizza to Roncesvalles Village after training with renowned chefs Roberto Caporuscio (NYC) and Tony Gemignani (San Francisco). Featured in The Food Network and The New York Times, they won Platinum for Best Local Pizza in Parkdale’s Reader’s Choice. In 2018, they expanded with Defina Wood Fired in the Junction Triangle and launched Defina Frozen, offering handcrafted 12-inch Roma-style frozen pizzas.

COOKING TIP: Simply thaw your pizza for 20 minutes while preheating your oven to 450°F. Place your pizza on the centre rack and bake for 11-13 minutes, or until the cheese is perfectly melted and bubbly. Be sure to watch for that golden perfection. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes on a rack. Slice, serve, and savour the deliciousness.
