Free-Range Turkey Breast Roast
Raised outside Dalemead, Alberta, Winter’s turkeys enjoy fresh air, open pasture during the day, and a cozy barn with clean bedding at night. Their diet includes 65% whole grains, along with organic greens and natural forage, resulting in healthy, flavourful birds. Turkey is a lean, protein rich food, and just a few slices provide around 25 grams of protein to help support muscle health and keep you feeling full.
COOKING TIP: Thaw completely in the fridge for 1-2 days. Remove the plastic wrap, leaving the netting on. Rub with cooking oil and roast at 375°F (190°C) for 1½–2 hours, until the centre reaches 165°F (74°C). Rest loosely covered with foil for 10 minutes, then remove the netting and slice. Refrigerate leftovers.
