Lean Ground Pork
Our 85/15 Lean Ground Pork is made from premium Ontario pork and crafted by our friends at Dolan Foods. COOKING TIP: Sure, you could make meatballs or Bolognese with ground pork, but you could also make stuffed mushrooms. Cremini mushrooms work best for these. Start by scooping out the mushroom (including the stem) and chopping it up into tiny pieces. Next, sauté the chopped up mushrooms with ground pork and some Italian seasoning. Once the pork is fully cooked, take it off the heat and add some cream cheese to the mixture. Once combined, stuff the cream cheese-pork-mushroom mixture back into the mushroom caps. Dip the whole mushroom in melted butter and sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top before finishing them in the oven.
