Organic Turkey Thighs

  • 1 Thigh (approx. 1 lb.)

Dark, lean meat is what these skin-on, boneless organic turkey thighs are all about. They're juicy and tender and locally raised in Ontario courtesy of Townsend Butchers. It's a great choice if you're looking for something slightly leaner than chicken but with the flavour of dark meat. 


COOKING TIP: There are many ways to cook these and none of them are wrong. Here's one of our favourites: start by browning both sides on a pan and then toss them in a slow cooker. Add some water and a bouillon cube (or stock), soy sauce, red chilli flakes, honey, ginger, garlic, and onions. Once cooked, reduce the sauce down to sweet and spicy deliciousness. Last step! Baste the turkey thighs with the reduced sauce and finish them in the oven so they get extra caramelized. If you can stop yourself from eating the tender pieces of pull-apart turkey right out of the pot, add it on top of some rice! You're welcome.
