truLOCAL's FREE Burger Giveaway

Nothing beats enjoying the summer heat with a grilled burger loaded with your favourite toppings and condiments on a freshly baked bun. What if we told you that we were having a contest to completely load up your freezer with 24 packs of our favourite beef burgers? That's a lot of burgers. You could feed an army or just enjoy a burger every day and live in burger bliss by switching up the condiments to best suit whatever style or whimsy you want. Just think of all those burger combinations to keep it exciting (it's almost infinite but here’s some inspiration to get you started)!

This summer, we want someone to experience burger bliss by giving away 24 packs of beef burgers to one person in each of our four regions: BC, Alberta, Ontario, and the rest of Canada (excluding QC). 

How to Enter

Simply go to the contest page and perform the listed actions to earn entries for each task you complete. 

Contest opens Tuesday July 2nd and ends at 11:59pm EST on July 31, 2024

The prize details

There are four prizes in total. Three of those cases will go to a lucky winner in each of the following provinces: BC, Alberta, and Ontario and the fourth case will go to a winner from anywhere outside of those mentioned regions (excluding Quebec). Each case is 24 packages of our favourite burgers from their winner's local region and is worth $319 per case. The prizes for each zone vary so let's discuss:

British Columbia

One lucky person will win 24 packs of beef burgers (4oz each) from Two Rivers Specialty Meats located in North Vancouver. That’s 24lbs of our favourite burger patties in BC.

Alberta 

Entrants from Alberta could be the lucky winner of a 24 packs of Salt & Pepper Beef Burgers from Black Apron Beef. Spoiler alert: They’re big and delicious! This case contains 24 packs of monster 6oz burger patties ready to hit the grill. 

Ontario 

Ontario’s prize is a case of Salt & Pepper Beef Burgers from West Grey Premium Beef located in Durham, Ontario. These amazing 4oz burgers are 4 to a pack so this prize of 96 burgers can almost feed an army!

The fourth case

We do not want to exclude anyone living outside of BC, Alberta, or Ontario so one winner from outside of those regions will also be selected (excludes people from Quebec, unfortunately) to win 24 packs of beef burgers from West Grey Premium Beef. That’s 96 burgers weighing 4oz each! You'll need a lot of cheese for this bounty!

Ways to enter:

Visit the contest page to see the list of actions that grant you entries into the draw. These actions range from visiting our social channels to telling your friends about the contest to entering a code from an order confirmation email from truLOCAL. You have to be 18 years or older and live within Canada. Oh, and you have to also really like burgers, I suppose. A full list of terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of the contest page.

Please note that the winner must live in a part of Canada that we can ship to because of limitations on shipping dry ice. There are only a few postal codes we cannot ship to but in the event that a winner lives in these zones, we will need to draw a different winner. Contest is open to current customers and non-customers and there is no purchase necessary to enter. Odds depend on the number of entries received.
