Chicken legs are perfect for anyone who loves dark chicken meat because they have both the thigh and the drumstick. They are incredibly versatile and have so much flavour. Our chicken legs come from Marc Caron Farms where they raise their chickens on a vegetarian diet, without using any hormones or steroids, and hand-cut and air-chill their chicken.
COOKING TIP: Chicken legs are great when roasted in the oven with veggies but we prefer them grilled on the barbecue. In order to have perfectly grilled chicken legs, thaw in the fridge overnight, put them in a zipper-top bag, and add your favourite marinade. Need some marinade inspiration? We try to keep it simple with orange juice, sesame oil, Dijon mustard, herbs, and hot sauce. After marinating them in the fridge for a few hours, place chicken legs on a preheated medium-high grill and cook for 15 minutes, flip and cook for another 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees℉.
