Cheese Stuffed Beef Burgers

The cheeseburger is a backyard favourite because it is creamy, gooey, and delicious. Timing the cheese can be tricky because if it is added too late it will not melt and if it is added too early it ends up coating the bottom of your barbecue. That is why we offer cheese stuffed burgers made from 100% Alberta beef raised on prairie grass and finished on barley for juicy, well-marbled meat. COOKING TIP: Burgers are made for grilling, which adds great smoky flavour, but don’t overlook pan-frying. A heavy skillet creates a crispy crust you won’t get otherwise. Preheat the pan on medium-high, cook thawed burgers for 3-5 minutes per side until they reach 165°F. Feel free to add more cheese during the last two minutes. Serve on a toasted, buttered brioche bun with your favourite toppings.
