Organic Hot Italian Sausage

Don’t let the name “Hot Italian” fool you, these organic sausages are made in Quebec. They are called that because they were made in a style similar to those made in Northern Italy where the flavours are bold and usually include fennel, garlic, and red hot pepper flakes. These delicious sausages are from our friends at duBreton and are organic, which means the animals are fed only GMO-free organic feed without animal by-products and raised without antibiotics in a crate-free environment. These sausages pack a delicious punch of flavour and spice, but if you don’t like spicy food, try the same sausages in a mild Italian version.


COOKING TIP: These sausages work very well with a variety of cooking methods including baking and pan-frying but we think that they are best when grilled! Stoke up the charcoal or turn on the propane and toss them on! Cook until the internal temperature reaches 160℉ and either serve them in a bun like a luxurious hot dog or cut them up and eat them in pasta.
