Cranberry Sauce

This tasty 6 ingredient cranberry sauce has a hint of orange and cinnamon to pair with the sweet sugar and tart cranberries.


  • 1 package 340g (12 oz) of frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed or prepared orange juice
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 stick of cinnamon or a pinch of ground
  • A pinch of salt


  1. Add the water and orange juice to a saucepan on medium-high heat
  2. Dissolve the sugar and salt in the liquid
  3. Stir in the frozen cranberries and bring to a boil
  4. Reduce heat to a low simmer and cook until the cranberries start to break open, about 5-10 minutes. You may want to crush some berries against the side of the pan with the back of a wooden spoon
  5. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl to cool
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve, it will continue to thicken as it cools
